Terms & conditions

Booking & Payment

  • The minimum stay at Casa Quadra Dique is between 4 and 7 nights depending on low-high season.
  • A reservation is only confirmed once a down payment of 25% of the total booking amount has been received.
  • In addition, the owner requests a security deposit of 25% of the total booking amount, with a maximum of €1,000. This deposit serves as a guarantee against damages and will be refunded after check-out, provided no damage has occurred.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days prior to check-in.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in is possible from 16:00 onwards.
  • Check-out must be completed by 10:00 on the day of departure.

Guests

  • The maximum occupancy is 10 guests, excluding children under the age of 12.
  • The minimum age for the main booker and check-in is 25 years.
  • Families with children are very welcome.
  • Groups consisting solely of young adults under 25 are not accepted, to ensure a peaceful and family-friendly environment.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations are free of charge up to 14 days prior to arrival.
  • In case of cancellation within 14 days before arrival, the down payment is non-refundable.

Identification & Legal Requirements (SEF / Alojamento Local)

  • All guests must present a valid photo ID upon arrival.
  • In accordance with Portuguese Alojamento Local regulations, guest identification details will be registered and communicated to the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service (SEF).
  • Guests must provide the required identification information digitally or in printed form prior to or upon arrival.

House Rules

  • Casa Quadra Dique is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
  • The property is not suitable for bachelor/bachelorette parties, parties, or events.
  • Quiet hours apply between 23:00 and 08:00 to respect the surrounding rural environment.

Children & Baby Facilities

  • Families are most welcome.
  • Baby cots are available free of charge upon request, subject to availability.

Pets

  • Pets are welcome upon prior request and approval.
  • An extra €50 cleaning fee per stay applies when bringing pets.

Use of Facilities & Liability

  • All facilities, including the swimming pool, gym and outdoor areas, are used at the guests’ own risk.
  • Children must always be supervised by an adult.
  • Casa Quadra Dique and its owners cannot be held liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, nor for personal injury during the stay.

Condition of the Property

  • The property must be left in a reasonable and tidy condition.
  • Children must always be supervised by an adult.
  • Excessive polluting, damage or missing items may result in additional charges.

Force Majeure

  • The owners are not liable for cancellations, interruptions or changes caused by events beyond their control, including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, power outages or governmental restrictions.
